MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Journee Ayers
Journee is the co-owner of CHART. She is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certified in Michigan. She has been an EMT for 6 years. She is also the daughter-in-law to Lisa, and she has a son and a daughter. Journee spends a lot of her time with her family and friends but enjoys craft projects, building projects, and cooking/baking.
Lisa Friedenstab
Lisa is the founder of Cardiac, Health, and Rescue Training (CHART). Lisa has been working in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for over 20 years. She has worked for both ground and air EMS ambulance companies in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and is currently a Critical Care Paramedic for a local ambulance service. She has 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Lisa spends a lot of her free time with family and friends. She loves the outdoors and animals.
Kathy Bilski
Kathy is a wife and mother of 4 children and has 9 grandchildren. Kathy has worked in several aspects of the medical field and is currently an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). She is currently working for a local ground ambulance service. In her free time Kathy likes to spend as much time with her friends and family. Her hobbies are crafting and gardening to name a few.
Jeremiah Jacobson (JJ)
JJ is a Critical Care Paramedic for Guardian Flight. He has been a Paramedic for 13+ years. He is a Michigan Instructor/ Coordinator and a Certified Fire Fighter. He likes to spend his free time doing a variety of outdoors actives, hanging out with his friends and singing karaoke.
Jeffery(Jeff) Friedenstab
Jeff is an EMT and Firefighter. He is currently the Chief of Fire in Iron Mountain, MI. Jeff is the husband of Lisa. Jeff enjoys time with his Family.
Joel Olson
Joel is a Critical Care Paramedic with over 5 years of experience in EMS . He is one of the CE instructors for CHART. Joel came to EMS after retirement from the US military of 25 years. Joel has Five children with 3 grandchildren. He like to spend his time with his granddaughters and taking them camping and also taking his sons to Milwaukee Brewers baseball games.
